Christmas 08

We spent Christmas day (and the three after) snowed in at 

Grandma and Grandpa Henning's house. 

But we had plenty to keep us entertained. 

Auntie AnnMarie won  the prize for best present this year.

I wore my fairy outfit for several hours that morning

As I said- we had a lot of snow that week.

But it made for some fun times !

We had a great Christmas and did eventually make it back to our own house on Saturday!

Our Christmas Tree 08

Every year we go to the Reade Christmas tree Farm and find a special tree to take home.

We search high and low and finally found the one we wanted

Dad and I cut it down with the saw that they provide

Dad did most of the work and we took home a great tree.

Later we went to Greenlake park to see the yearly Christmas Luminaries

Despite the falling snow there were lots of people out and it was very festive

The snow continued to fall and the next day we played out in our backyard

Seeing Santa 08

We went out during the first week of December 

to celebrate dad's birthday and see SANTA!

We spent some time at Pacific Place trying to 

catch the snow that falls inside nightly during Christmas

We waited in line with some of Dad's relatives and they were very happy to see SANTA

I thought that seeing SANTA would be fun but he's scary when you get up close to him.

I still wasn't happy about the picture even after that scary man left so we could take it by ourselves.  But we had a nice dinner and I recovered quickly.

Thanksgiving 08

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Phoenix with 

Grandma and Grandpa Little and Family

We spent our free day exploring a dessert park

Then we went to the RailRoad park and played on the toys

It was a little colder than normal but we still spent plenty of time in the pool

We saw lots of family and ate great food and had a good time

Halloween 08

Aunt Christy came over around Halloween. She brought her kids and her dogs.  

I had fun with the dog kennel

We dressed up as Pirates for Halloween

My cousins were Harry Potter and a Ballet Bunny

We went trick-or-treating and to a party- we had lots of fun!
