December 2007

It snowed Early in December and I took the opportunity to play in it while I was at Grandma and Grandpa's house

Here I am wearing a hat the Great Grandma Betty made for Aunty AnnMarie when she was little

There weather warmed up a little as the month went on but it was still cold the day we went to get our Christmas Tree
Every year we go out to a farm, pick out a tree and cut it down

On Sunday the 9th we waited in a long line for a chance to see Santa at Nordstroms-  but he scared me and I didn't want to have anything to do with him (I learned later that he snuck behind us while we were taking this lovely family picture)

After Santa we went out to a nice restaurant and celebrated dad's 35th Birthday

I tried to celebrate a little too much when no one was looking

Christmas morning finally came and it started to snow, Dad said it was the first white Christmas Seattle's had in a long time

I explored the Christmas tree and found everything that had my name on it
I got cool clothes
and great new books and movies
I found that the new stuff was fun but

I had a great time with the boxes as well.

All in all it was a very fun holiday season =)

November 2007

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Moscow Idaho where Aunt Christy lives- and when I say "we" I mean the whole Little Clan
At dinner the first night I got re-aquainted with Cousin Isabella
We had Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Christy's new house- here is Cousin Mady and Uncle Jimmy
We had to set up tables in the Living room because there were some many of us- like my Aunt Sandy and mom's Aunt Judy
It was snowy outside so we mostly stayed in - and there were a lot of us
But there was plenty to drink and lots of good conversation- here is Grandma Kody talking to Dewey Stewart (that's Uncle Trapper's daddy)
Mom's Cousin Nicki, Ken, and Isabella came the furthest for the party starting out their trip in Michigan
On Saturday we drove to Cour d'lane and went on a boat cruise
We all braved the cold outside to see the lights from the top deck
We spent Friday and saturday night in Spokane
We had many meals together which gave a perfect picture oppurtunity- here are a few of the family : Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary

Uncle Dale, Aunt Kara, and Cousin Jared

Uncle Mark, Aunt Sandy, and Cousin Nicholas

Aunt Christy, Cousin Mady and Austin

Grandma Jeanie and Grandpa Mitch

We had a good time and I made a great new friend

We went to the mall downtown

And had our picture taken with Santa Claus!

We braved the cold again to check out Riverside Park

but quickly retreated to the Davenport Hotel where we were staying to enjoy the warmth and wonderful Christmas decor
