Havin fun before sister comes!

We took some time to get out and enjoy the nice weather before little sis comes

We went to explore the Arboritum

we found some very nice flowers in bloom

We rode the bus downtown and went to the Folklife Festival for the first time

There were a lot of people at the Center

It was hot and Brenna wanted to get wet but not that wet!

The fountain sort of surprised her!

But she got over it and we went to listen to some music

and see some locals

Including a friend of Mom's from Choir who helped Brenna pet the parrots

Once again Brenna wanted to get wet so we chose a tamer local

After a little lunch Jamie and Brenna did some Contra dancing (sort of)

Then we got on the bus (maybe Brenna's favorite part) and went home.

A few days later we went to the zoo and visited the new Penguin exhibit.

Over all we have been enjoying the nice weather very much-

though very pregnant Jamie is very hot!

Skagit Valley Tulips

In early May we spent some time on the boat and went to see the tulips in the valley up there.

It was a rainy kind of day but we had fun anyways.

Most of the time!

There are several bulb growers in the valley

with large fields of flowers to make bulbs

and display gardens to show what tulips can do.

A very pregnant mommy had a hard time walking the fields.

So daddy went out with me and mom took some pics

We also spent some time in local nurseries and produce stands.

We ended our day with a Birthday party for friends at a park in Bellingham.

We had a great time.

Brenna's 3rd Birthday

For my 3rd birthday we went to the Rainforest Cafe!

Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa,

Auntie AnnMarie

Barb and Beemnet

Jeremy and Miriam all went with me.

I got a cool cup that blinks in the dark.

And lots of fun presents like a garden set of tools, a baby doll and accessories, two princess dresses and a beautiful wooden elephant from India!

I had some trouble adjusting to the moving animals and thunder storms

but eventually got over it~

and enjoyed the food (a sparkling lava volcano cake)

and the entertainment!
