Brenna's baptism

Brenna Marion Henning was baptized at our church, Lake Forest Park Presbyterian, on October 8th 2006.

We were very excited to have Brenna baptized as we plan to raise Brenna to know God..

And we believe that God knew her and loved her even before she was born...

And has her life in His hands...

Reverend Dr. Tom Patterson baptized Brenna...

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit...

and Brenna didn't even cry or make a fuss.

We were very proud of her and afterward we had brunch with everyone who came to share in the day.

"I have a Maker, He formed my heart,
before even time began my life was in his hands.
I have a Father, He calls me His own,
He'll never leave me, no matter where I go.
He knows my name,
He knows my every thought,
He sees each tear that falls
and hears me when I call."

Brenna's doings...

Brenna sleeps about 11 hours a night and generally prefers to sleep on her side with her back arched and her head thrown back...

though she has recently taken to rolling over during the night and sleeping on her stomach.

She even sleeps like this during naps...

But some times we aren't at home for naps and so she just covers her head with something and tunes out the world. =)

Most of Brenna's meals still come from a bottle, but she has started practicing real food by having some rice cereal everyday...

and sitting in the high chair is often the hardest part of the meal.

Most days she takes some time for personal hygiene, whether it's a nice relaxing shower in her shower seat...

or a sudsy bubble bath floating with mom or dad.

The majority of the day is spent in learning fun

sometimes it includes a good friend like Howard here..

or hanging out with her circus mat friends..

or talking to her baby friend in the mirror on the musical elephant's tummy;
that other baby is very fond of her binky too =)

And what day would be complete without a little fresh air and exercise- walk supported by mom or dad , of course=)
