The BIG Boating trip

July started with a long trip on the boat- we met some friends in Rhoche Harbor for 4th of July- and I had fun driving their boat. Auntie joined us on the 5th so in all it was 5 adults, Lucy the dog, and little me.

After Rhoche we went to Victoria and the weather was beautiful

It was warm and we enjoyed some gelatto in the evenings

We went for an evening drive in the little boat one night

and I got to drive!

Next we motored over to Sidney and explored the town

We also spent some time plying on Sidney spit across the water

Next we spent a couple of days at Cabbage Island- an island park

there were a lot of tide pools and drift wood and rocks to explore- and we saw some seals

After Cabbage Island we motored to Gangese where we stayed for a couple of days

we ate at the restaurants- this is the Tree House Restaurant- and fed the ducks

We had coffee- Grandma and Mom thought it was the best Mocha they'd ever had!

and played in the park

Auntie left us in Gangese to go home on a float plane, then the rest of us went to Stewart Island

and fisherman's Cove, where we enjoyed the resort amenities

We were on the boat for two weeks in all- the weather was awesome and I had a great time on land and water...
